Amita Marwah— A mother, wife, social worker and a Taekwondo Champion!

As the developments are on its peak, the number of rapes are also increasing in India. Most of the time when an accused is caught, he usually says that the girls were guilty as they should not wear short clothes or they must stay at home. This statement sounds stupid as it is obviously, but a woman has has shut them up. Panchkula-based woman Amita Marwah, a Taekwondo Champion and a mother of two daughters has proved such statements wrong!

Amita Marwah has now stepped in to the list of inductees of the Taekwondo Hall of Fame India, as she is now one of  the top 60 Taekwondo players of our country. In an exclusive conversation she shared that she started learning Taekwondo after her daughters went into Taekwondo classes at their school. This idea influenced her so much that she also started learning martial arts along with her daughters from coach Karanveer Ahlawat.

Once, she was a learner and now she has became a source of education and learning, as she is currently running an NGO named Amita Marwah Activity team. She teaches the children from the slums, who have some dedication towards the martial art. Her students are having a lot of medals, not only from Indian tournaments, but International as well.

Amita is blessed with two daughters and both of them are born fighters and also well trained in Taekwondo, that too black belt. In addiction to their fighting skills, one daughter Himanshi Marwah, is a very fine artist as well.

The lady have achieved a lot in her life, that now she is spreading the knowledge throughout the slums.
